Plan Goes Off the Rails Pt. 1

In total we had 3 different sessions of filming planned out. These were the opening scene in the bathroom, the entire party montage, and the scene filmed the next morning. This was all supposed to be filmed in the same 24 hour period where Sean, my costar, and I would get the shots filmed in the bathroom before the party and loud music started. Then we would film the 2nd scene during the party and the next day in the morning we would film the "next day" scene. This plan went completely off the rails when we came late to Hopes Birthday Party. We still tried to film in the upstairs bathroom but we realized later this wouldn't work. Sean and I practiced the lines and Bliss gave us some pointers on how to speak into the microphone. The first shot was of me sitting on the toilet which took we filmed a couple takes of. Then we filmed the shot of Sean responding to me which took about 15 takes because he kept forgetting the line he was supposed to deliver. We then tried to rush through the next three shots by only doing one take because the music started to be really loud. We did these scenes mostly well but the issue was we only filmed two shots. Meaning we forgot one of them but at the time we hadn't noticed yet. After listening to the best takes I realized the music was just way to loud. "Mask Off" was playing in background and I think it may be a little too late to ask Future to use his song. This left us with very few options. Two to be specific. One was to ask Hope to turn off the music for 5 minutes and film the scenes. While the other choice was to scrap filming the scenes this day and worrying about it another time. To avoid being a party pooper we choose the second option. And already 20 minutes in we've managed to basically abandon the comprehensive plan we've worked weeks on. So me and Bliss did what we did best and impromptu our way through the rest of the day.
